In Google Tag Manager, open the Admin tab, click User Management in the Account column, add our email with Administrator account permission, set the container permission to Publish, and click Invite. Publish is the key detail — without it we can stage tags but never set them live.
Invite this email
Access level: Administrator + Publish — Administrator manages the account; Publish is required to actually push tag changes live — Edit and Approve alone can't.
YOU'LL NEED
STEP BY STEP
Enter ilya@liveppcads.com.
The default is User — change it.
For each container we'll manage. This is the step most invites miss.
We accept from the Invitations card on our GTM home screen.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
First order of business is an audit of your existing tags and triggers — duplicate or stale tags are the most common cause of inflated conversion counts.
You stay in control. Admin → User Management → select our email → Remove → Save.
COMMON SNAGS
Account Administrator does not automatically include container Publish rights. Open User Management, click our email, and raise the container permission to Publish.
Keep at least two Administrators on your GTM account at all times — an account whose only admin leaves the company is permanently locked.
Steps verified against Google's official help article. Platform interfaces change — if a label looks different, the official doc is the tiebreaker.
